Description
Product Overview
The 4 Cubic Meter Vehicle-Mounted Snow Melting Agent Spreader is designed for winter road maintenance and controlled spreading of deicing materials on roads and paved surfaces.
The machine uses a 4m³ hopper, chain-slat conveying system and disc-type spreading device. Material is transferred from the hopper to the spreading disc and distributed across the road surface with a specified spreading width of 2-8m.
Its vehicle-mounted configuration is suitable for municipal road maintenance, industrial areas and other winter service applications requiring mobile deicing material spreading.
Key Features and Advantages
4m³ Hopper Capacity
The 4m³ hopper provides increased material capacity for winter road maintenance operations and reduces the frequency of refilling compared with smaller-capacity units.
Chain-Slat Material Conveying
The chain-slat conveying system transfers deicing material from the hopper toward the spreading device during operation.
Disc-Type Spreading System
The disc-type spreading device distributes material across the road surface with a specified spreading width of 2-8m.
Vehicle-Mounted Configuration
The spreader is designed for installation on a suitable carrier vehicle, supporting mobile operation on roads and paved work areas.
Independent Diesel Power
The unit is equipped with a 12 HP Youpu diesel engine to power the spreading system.
Manual Throttle Control
The engine uses manual throttle control for straightforward adjustment during operation.

Operation Instructions and Safety Notes
Pre-operation inspection
Check the carrier vehicle, power system, hopper, chain-slat conveyor and spreading disc before operation. Confirm that moving components rotate freely and that there are no loose, damaged or blocked parts.
Material preparation
Use suitable deicing material and avoid loading wet, heavily caked or contaminated material that may interfere with conveying or spreading.
Loading and road safety
Do not exceed the specified load capacity. During winter operation, avoid sudden braking and sharp steering, especially on icy roads. Follow local traffic and work-zone safety requirements.
Spreading operation
Select the spreading width according to road width and operating conditions. Monitor material flow during operation and stop the system before clearing any blockage.
Weather considerations
Adjust the spreading approach according to snowfall, road conditions, temperature and wind. Strong wind may affect material distribution.
Maintenance Recommendations
- – Remove residual deicing material from the hopper, conveyor and spreading device after operation.
– Wash areas exposed to deicing material to reduce corrosion risk.
– Dry cleaned components before storage where practical.
– Inspect the chain-slat conveyor and spreading disc for wear or blockage.
– Check the diesel engine according to normal service requirements.
– Inspect the battery and electrical connections regularly.
– Store remaining deicing material in a dry, ventilated place to reduce moisture absorption and caking.
