Description
Product Overview
The 8 Cubic Meter Lime and Cement Powder Spreader is designed for controlled spreading of powder materials such as lime and cement in road construction and related material-distribution operations.
The machine uses a box-type hopper, mechanically driven dual chain-slat feeding system and a screw-distribution oscillating-housing spreading mechanism. Material is conveyed from the hopper to the spreading unit and distributed close to the road surface, helping reduce the influence of wind on powder placement.
The unit is hydraulically driven during spreading operation and includes adjustable material delivery and discharge control for more consistent powder output.
Key Features and Advantages
8m³ Powder Hopper
The 8m³ hopper provides storage capacity for powdered lime, cement and similar compatible powder materials.
Dual Chain-Slat Feeding System
The machine uses dual chain-slat feeding for stable and even material delivery. A speed-control valve allows the feeding speed to be adjusted to control powder output.
Screw Distribution and Oscillating-Housing Spreading
The spreading system combines screw material distribution with an oscillating housing to spread powder close to the ground surface and reduce wind-related drift during operation.
Adjustable Hydraulic Discharge Gate
A hydraulic gate is installed at the discharge outlet, allowing the opening size to be adjusted according to the required spreading amount.
Automatic Spreading Control
The supplied product description states that the spread quantity per square meter is automatically controlled and does not change with vehicle speed.
Dust-Control Spreading Cover
A spreading cover is used to help reduce airborne dust during powder spreading.
Adjustable Material Distribution Components
The conveying screw and material-distribution roller speeds can be controlled to improve spreading consistency.
Expandable Hopper Structure
Reserved extension holes allow the hopper height to be increased by the user when additional loading volume is required.

Operation Instructions and Safety Notes
Pre-operation inspection
Check the hopper, dual chain-slat feeding system, hydraulic components, screw distribution system, spreading housing, fasteners and guards before operation. Make sure all moving parts operate freely and there is no blockage.
Material loading safety
Load powder materials evenly and do not exceed the rated load capacity. Avoid introducing large foreign objects or heavily caked material that may block the conveying or spreading system.
Spreading setup
Set the chain-slat feeding speed and hydraulic discharge-gate opening according to the required material output. Confirm the spreading area is clear before starting the spreading mechanism.
Operating safety
Keep personnel away from the spreading outlet and all moving components during operation. Stop the system before clearing blockages, making adjustments or carrying out inspection.
Dust control
Keep the spreading cover correctly positioned during operation to reduce powder dust. Avoid unnecessary spreading in conditions that may cause excessive material drift.
Maintenance Recommendations
- – Remove residual lime, cement and powder material from the hopper, chain slats, screw and spreading housing after use.
- – Inspect the hydraulic system for leakage and check hydraulic oil condition regularly.
- – Check the dual chain-slat feeding system for tension, wear and material buildup.
- – Inspect the screw distributor and material-distribution roller for wear or blockage.
- – Keep the discharge gate clean and verify that it opens and closes smoothly.
- – Check gear pump, motors, reducer and fasteners regularly.
- – Store the machine in a dry, ventilated area and protect exposed metal parts from corrosion during long-term storage.
