Description
Product Overview
The 16m³ Twin Vertical Auger Manure Spreader is designed for tractor-towed spreading of solid agricultural materials. It combines a large-capacity hopper, chain-board material feeding system and rear twin vertical augers for material breaking and rear spreading.
The conveying system is driven by the tractor hydraulic output. Material is automatically moved toward the rear by the internal conveyor chain, and the conveying speed can be adjusted through a flow control valve to suit different spreading requirements.
The machine is suitable for large farms, pastures and grassland applications, and can handle materials including dry or wet manure, lumpy manure, organic fertilizer, granular fertilizer, sand and lime.
Key Features and Advantages
16 m³ Hopper Capacity
The 16 m³ hopper supports large-volume fertilizer loading for field spreading operations.
Twin Vertical Auger Spreading System
The rear twin vertical auger system breaks up and spreads material as it moves toward the discharge area. The stepped arrangement of the auger blades supports material breakup and spreading.
Hydraulic Material Feeding
The tractor hydraulic output drives the internal conveyor chain. A flow control valve allows the material conveying speed to be adjusted for different spreading requirements.
8-20 m Spreading Width
The specified spreading width for this model is 8-20 m, supporting broad field coverage during rear spreading operations.
High-Manganese-Steel Auger Blades
The spreading system uses 30 high-manganese-steel auger blades. The source material also states that the auger blades are replaceable for maintenance convenience.
Tandem-Axle Running Gear
The machine is equipped with 2 axles and 4 tires. The specified braking and suspension configuration is air brake plus spring suspension.
High-Strength Carbon Steel Hopper
The hopper is specified as high-strength carbon steel for the main material-carrying structure.
Five-Step Paint Surface Treatment
The specified surface treatment process includes shot blasting, sandblasting, abrasive blasting, primer and topcoat.

Operation Instructions and Safety Notes
Pre-operation inspection
Check the connection between the spreader and tractor, including the hitch and drawbar, for damage, deformation or looseness. Check tire pressure, tire wear and the chassis for deformation, cracks or other damage.
Hydraulic and power transmission inspection
Check the hydraulic transmission system from the tractor to the spreader. Make sure hydraulic lines are securely connected without leakage, valves open and close normally, and the system can drive the vertical augers and conveyor chain correctly.
Spreading system inspection
Confirm that the vertical augers rotate freely and are free of foreign-object blockage. Check that auger blades are complete and secure, the conveyor chain has suitable tension and no damaged or detached links, and the discharge gate and adjustment mechanism operate normally.
Operating safety
Control tractor travel speed according to the material type, application rate and spreading conditions. Adjust vertical auger speed, conveyor-chain speed and discharge-gate opening according to the fertilizer characteristics and spreading requirements. Avoid operating above the rated working load of the spreader, conveyor chain or vertical augers.
Maintenance Recommendations
- After each spreading operation, remove residual material from the hopper, vertical augers and conveyor chain to reduce fertilizer-related corrosion.
- Water may be used for cleaning, while avoiding water entry into electrical components and key transmission parts.
- Regularly inspect the vertical auger blades, conveyor chain and gearbox for wear, and replace severely worn parts when necessary.
- For long-term storage, keep the spreader in a dry, well-ventilated location to reduce moisture and rust.
- Release hydraulic-system pressure before long-term storage.
